Flu clinic for seniors was very well-run
I appreciated the newspaper publishing the notice of the recent free flu vaccine clinic (Telegram & Gazette, Nov. 18).
What an uplifting experience. From the moment I, and others, arrived at the Worcester Senior Center, we were guided from the parking lot to the appropriate entrance. Once inside, we were greeted by Dr. Leonard J. Morse, city health commissioner, and the many young men and women volunteers with pleasant “Good mornings.” We were then directed to the registration area and later to the room where we were administered the flu vaccine. The entire procedure took less than 15 minutes, not counting saying hello to many friends.
It was a heartwarming experience and I would like to personally commend all the volunteers and staff who made this essential service possible.
